This is Prince Eric, my sweet buffie rooster. He is second in command to Diego, a white leghorn. We did have another BO rooster, Max, but he went off to freezer camp two months ago after her tried to kill Eric. These spots on his comb worry me. He seems perfectly healthy and happy (well...as happy as a non-alpha could be) except for these spots. Is it Avian pox or from Diego pulling him off when he tries to mount the hens?

It looks like either just peck marks or frost bite, both are usually minor
He and Diego don't fight, but Diego will pull him off a hen by his comb. The problem is that there are only five hens and Diego does not want to share. I'm trying to give them more girls but with a Brinsea mini that could take a while. I have new chicks that hatched a week ago so I'm hoping for hens.

Btw...thanx for answering so quickly.

Maybe I should try and see if I can clean it up some. I haven't picked him up in a while, but I could probably do it without much of a fuss.
