That gosling looks awful and very neglected and un kept. There needs to be a lot of work done with this gosling. Needs good waterfowl feed, fresh clean water to drink at all times and a fresh clean pool to bathe in............ It needs it A.S.A.P.

NO that gosling is not alright!!!! You need to get that gosling to a vet to check it out. It looks awful and very poor condition. I have never seen a gosling look like that before. How long have you had this gosling. What are you feeding it? They need grass and plenty of it and also waterfowl feed. Plus you can feed romaine lettuce, kale and many other things. That poor thing needs attention from a vet now!

We rescued her yesterday and now that she has grass and water plus heat she has been so much more active. I hope she is ok the place we got her from was terrible there was 40 of them and they had no heat, and were covered in mud. :(

If the people had 40 of them and all were in this condition they need to have the law or ASAP called to get those poor geese out of there fast before they all die needlessly!!!! That is cruelty for sure...........

That poor goslings should have adult feathering coming in and be much heavier. I would call on those people. I usually keep out of things like this but that is just pitiful to treat any animal or bird like this.

Ok i am going to call on that place today. I feel so sorry for the little guy its just not right D= in the mean time we will do what we can to get her better, thank you SO much for your advice!!

I showed the pictures of the gosling to my husband and he said OH my GOD it looks like the gosling through a shreading machine!!! To me it looks like the other birds were eating the feathers off for protein.
GOD Bless you for taking this poor gosling in and hopefully you can get this baby back on it feet and healthy for one in it's life.... What a horrible life those birds are going through!!!!!!
My heart sank when I seen that gosling and the 2nd picture just mad me sick to my stomach, that anyone could let a gosling or anything get to that condition...

You are welcome on the advise and if you need more help there are many people on here who will be of great help. Just get that baby healthy.
Give baby, romaine, kale, red grapes, shelled sunflower seeds, tomatoes, cut up on the tomatoes and grapes. You can give her watermelon, honeydew, cantaloupe. But make sure she eats waterfowl feed. Since she is 4 weeks old already you can just start her on adult feed. If she starts having leg weakness you can get niacin to put in the water for her. You can also get brewers yeast not live kind but the powder you purchase at feed stores and put that on her food to help rebuild her. When she is older and has gotten back on her feet I do believe you should take a sample of her poo into the vets to see if she has worms from such and AWFUL start in life.
My best to you and that poor darling...
