I am writing a paragraph for Eng. 101 and this is my title:
Reusing plastic water bottles: Is it safe?

Does that look correct? I am not so good with this stuff and this class is taking forever to end!

Thanks!

It's right and it could also be correct with a dash in between re and use---either way I think you are good to go.

The original rule was always two spaces after a colon, that has changed to where it is acceptable to either one or two spaces. Another rule in the Chicago style is one space if a partial sentence follows the colon, two spaces if a full sentence follows the colon. Either one is acceptable but it will be up to your instructor so you need to find out what they consider proper because some are really stuck on "old-school" rules, other swear by the new rules.

That is a good idea. However, she has yet to answer an email I sent her on Thursday with questions I had for the assignment that was due on Saturday.

Thanks for the help!
