Is this normal for Silkies?

I have two Silkie's, a hen and a rooster.They sleep curled up in a nest box together or in the corner of their coop. They don't go on the roost. They can get to the roost I think,because there's a low bar like two feet in the air that they can jump onto and then from there they should be able to get to the main roosts which are just a few feet higher.
I have only had them for two nights but their almost a year old.
I haven't had silkies before and all my other chickens roost so I'm just wondering if this is normal.

I have some young silkies myself, and they prefer to snuggle together in a pile in one of the nest boxes rather than roost. My bantam cochins do the same thing, I think its just preference!

I've heard of Silkies doing these.

They are silkies, they are cute, no problems there I'm sure!

My silkies do this. If their happy, it works for me!
And they are pretty darn cute piled up in the corner with all that fluff.

And when they get older, they may help you clean the floors!
