A small cup will work too if you don't have a container.

I have a week until lockdown.

Waiting is the hardest. I was so excited for lockdown day and had an early bird already pipped when I went to lockdown. And then the power went out for 6 hours that night and I've never been so stressed!!

I had a power outage during the first day of incubation with my first batch of very expensive eggs. They made it okay though, which is good.

Now that he's upright in there he's starting to walk around in little circles. Hasn't flipped back over since I put him upright a couple times to start.

That's good. Good to know it's working.

Hopefully you have chicks that will stay on their bellies for you. Flipping over once, or twice is normal though.

I can't wait to get him in the brooder too. My early hatcher has been cheeping incessantly for 2 days and she's getting louder now that she can hear chicks in the incubator!
