Is this potential angel wing?

So I recently switched my goslings over to waterfowl feed instead of all flock raiser. But looking at my gosling wings I’m a little worried about angel wing with the change in protein content. I cannot tell if it is just the way his feathers are laying or if he is starting to develop angel wing.

I have pics of my african goose 6 1/2 weeks old. Is this the beginning of angel wing? I tuck them under just fine then it pops out again. This is my 1st goose. The lighter color is the covering that should dry out and flake off the feathers. Just wanna be a good mom and take care of her.

I’m not quite sure, it may be too early to tell I would @ some of the others who replied to my original post as they have more experience with geese then I.

Yes, that looks like angel wing. She’s still well within the treatment age, so it shouldn’t be too hard to fix!

I looked up on YouTube how to bind the wings with that ankle gauze that sticks to itself so I'm gonna try that. Do you know how long I should leave it bound? She is a cuddly baby so I don't think I have any trouble with her.

I’d leave it bound for 12-24 hours, and then remove for a few hours and see how it does. If it still seems to be sticking out / drooping, wrap it again and repeat until it’s better.

Some cases only need a few days - a week to fix. But I had 1 angel wing case with a duck where he kept fighting out of the wrapping, so it took closer to 2 weeks to fix.
