Is this ramp too steep?

This is a picture of inside my 3 1/2' by 4 1/2' coop. The ramp leads to the roost on the left, which is 42" above the floor (after I do the DLM). It also has a landing about 12" up on the right. Our chicks are almost 5 weeks old and still in the brooder so can't test it out on them.

Do you think this ramp will work? Is ramp even needed?

Could they fly up and down that high in that tight of space without it?

I could lower the roost a foot but I hear that they like to be higher up.

Doesnt look to steep to me, my ramp into my coop is fairly steep and they get up and down it just fine, in fact they play on it more than they use it to access the coop lol

What breed are they? My Sussex & cochins wouldn't be able to make it up there. My Creves, Houdans and Sumatras, yes. Maybe the Orloffs.

1 RIR
1 LH
1 EE
1 Cochin

The reason I asked is I hear that chickens don't like remodels, so I wanted to get everything right ahead of time

Mine is almost vertical with bigger steps and it works great
