Hey! We just treated our girls for scaly leg mites, and our salmon faverolle, Sally, has something odd going on on the bottom of her foot.

She's about eight months old, healthy and otherwise thriving, but we thought we should reach out and see if anyone knows what this is?

I would say bumble foot as well!! Ck pen /lot for sharp objects for them to hurt their tender feet on!
I hear so many times raising chickens can't be hard!!
No it is my joy but you BETTER know ur resources, be able to find ur research material, have a first aid kit on hand & willing to use it, be ready to work to figure out problems that arise, be amused, laugh, cry and most of all enjoy the eggs and love they provide because you take take of them, protect them and they want to show you how pleased they are for that!! My thoughts are this: an animal didn't ask to come to ur farm...u brought it there so it is ur job and responsibility to care for it, love it, protect it , feed it , water it and do what ever it takes to give quality to this animal to end of their life!! Remember this and you will have no trouble with God directing ur path on what to do!! Keep focused and good luck!!!

looks like you have a combination of bumblefoot and a malformation of the foot. it looks like a genetic malformation perhaps, an extra vestigial toe and the hind toe may not be the correct digit, in other words it may essentially be part of an extra foot. i would treat for bumblefoot and just know it will likely always be a bit wonky.

Update:
Hey everyone! We've got an appointment for Sally in the works, and I brought her in for a bit of home surgery to see what's up. I've got some pictures to show what we did.

Upon further inspection, there was no visible sign of infection. It bled a whole bunch, so we applied some silver sulfadiazine cream and wrapped it up. She's staying in for the night, and we're going to take another look in the morning.
