Is this Silkie a pullet or rooster?

Thank you! My daughter hopes they are all cockerels! :D
I will say I've never had a problem with a silkie roo. I've had way too many as I let my bantams hatch when they feel like and sell whatever excess as they get older. Mine haven't had a mean bone in them, were gentle to the girls even during adolescence, never attacked me, and have been good to chicks, even keeping them warm. I love the hens, but the roos aren't bad.

That’s so good to hear!! We are new to chickens, and trying to learn all we can. The two pullets are definitely sweeter than these two. They are still nice just a little more nervous. We got them a week after we got the two pullets but from the same breeder. We just love all of them!

I would say they are cockerels just how the comb is formed, on average a silkie pullet doesn't even have a comb at 3 to 5 weeks of age. and another thing you could check is if they have wispys coming in. about 60 percent of the time the silkies produce males and the other 40 would be females as stated on the CPA site. another thing is their temperament, if they are a little bit more talkative when food is given or maybe if they crow. that would probably be an indicator that they are cockerels. best of luck with your silkies! :)
