was thinking about not turning at all, but after as much research as I could muster last night I just don't think it is worth it, especially for my first time. Although the genesis is twice as much as the little giant and turner from Tractor Supply from what I have heard it is better and easier, two things I thought would come in handy for a beginner.

Anyone can chime in, I just want to make sure I order the right one. And I was wondering how many chicken eggs the turner will hold?

The turner will hold 42 chicken eggs. When I ordered mine it also came with quail egg trays, so don't be afraid when you see all those little bitty egg cups and think how in the world is that supposed to hold a chicken egg! [IMG]

I hatched my first ever batch earlier this year and had great results. [IMG] It's very easy to adjust too if you find that yours runs a little too hot or cool, generally the pre-set is spot on.

I wish I had ordered that one when I ordered my 2 1588s. I'm getting quail eggs soon and don't have quail racks. Anyone here want to sell theirs?( to fit into the 1611 auto turner from GQF.)
    ps-yes it holds 42 chicken/duck/guinea eggs
