Is this the same dog?

5 years ago my little hunting dog went missing.
We searched and put up signs, but no luck. We didnt think he could of crossed the highway, so we didnt search across it.
Well today, I was on the other side of the highway looking for Dozor and I went up to someone's house and seen a dog that looks just like Milo.
The guy said his wife picked him off of the highway about 5 years ago.

The pics on the left are of Milo and the right are from the dog I seen the other day.
What do you guys think?

Im not sure but the photos on the right look like an older dog?? That can't be if those were photos of your dog 5 years ago? The photos on the left look to be a younger dog? how old was he when you lost him Oh and Im so sorry you lost Milo

5 years older and shaved down it looks pretty close! DID he recognize you? How long did you have him for?

Well, it looks like it could be the same dog to me but of course aged by 5 years. How did he act when you saw him? Animals have amazing memories. Sounds like the wife picked him up about the same time he came up missing.

Looks like the same dog to me. Clipping a hard coated dog can change the texture and color of the coat slightly.
