Backstory.... I bought 2 assorted chicks (along with two assorted Bantam chicks) from TS about 6-7 weeks ago. The next day I got 3 Cream Legbar pullet chicks (along with 3 barred Rock pullets and 3 Dark Brahma pullets)The assorted chicks and the cream Legbar chicks looked alot alike so it was hard to tell them apart. Unfortunately one of them passed away a few days later. Now I've got this one who I believe is a Cream Legbar Roo. Am I Correct? Are Cream Legbar chicks autosexed? Did one of the Cream Legbar pullet chicks pass and my mystery chick is this roo? So many questions lol

That's not a cream legbar roo. There's cream legbar in its ancestry, whatever it may be, but it's not a pure CL roo. CL roos are only black and white barred, with a larger head tuft, and their combs only go about 2/3 up from their beaks. This guy has a full single comb, it extends over the top of his head. The red in his feathers indicate he's not a pure CL. Not sure what else he might be - there are other barred breeds or mixes he could be but I'm not familiar with them.

Bielefelder? Or an EE of some sort

Bielefelder mix- Anyone else notice the unusually large pecker (beak) on that cockerel? Awkward teen stage

Sorry my stupid phone cut me off. I also have another mystery roo from TS that I haven't heard or see they to crow yet.

I haven't heard him try to crow yet. My two Bantam roos (Silver duckwing OEGB and a barred OEGB) have both been trying to crow for about 2 weeks now. I also have another
Give him time. We want them to start crowing bc its such a milestone but when they finally do, we want them to shut up.
My roo has developed a liking to crow from 5:30 til about 11 (he’s crowing right now!) without fail—takes a noon break then right back at it. It’s hard to ignore but he’s a good rooster- Bielefelder 14 months old
