Is Virkon S Okay to use on/in chicken run soil?

Is this broad spectrum disinfectant okay to use on soil to sanitize a chicken run?

Yep.

One of my flocks may have been hit by bird flu. Had to put a hen down that was showing some symptoms, unsteady on legs, puffed up, drooping wings, respiratory distress, Diarrhea, & hemorrhaging on the legs/feet.

Attempting to prepare if that's what it is. I have that flock under observation right now.

I would assume just once if it's saturated pretty good. The pucks don't go very far. It gets expensive quick. I use a pump up sprayer

The only issue is since mereks is airborne it will probably be everywhere outside of the treated pen/pens

I'll have to look up one of those sprayers.

Because of the Dandruff/the birds produce constantly.
