There might have been organ damage from the original source that caused this in the first place that could not be reversed... you never know until you try... it just wasnt to be this time

But you are right, this forum is great. It is so good to have people to turn to when things go bad, and only other "chicken people" will understand.

It is harder for me the "second" time she died than the first....maybe it is because the first time I wasn't sure she was dead, and I hadn't nursed her back to yet either.

Oh, I'm so sorry...and so sad about this...
I was praying for a full recovery and I am mystified by what was going on with her, poor girl.
One thing for sure - she knew she wasn't alone and that you were trying to help her.
