I would try leaving a small amount of each type of food as well as some water in with her. The regular chick feed probably wasn't the issue - it could have been she got chilled, or dehydrated or wasn't getting enough to eat or simply wasn't absorbing the necessary nutrients. If she is not used to being handled she may eat after you've left her alone for a little while. Are you giving her the Poly-Vi-Sol?

She's made amazing progress and you've done a remarkable job. Can't believe those pics.

I am going to bed....just wanted to update you all that whiny is just as feisty as ever....she keeps trying to get out. I think more than food and water she misses her buddies!!! I think she will go nuts if I keep her alone for much longer.

Anyway, we all made it through the worst of it....
I'll update tomorrow...

YOU did great! I have been folowing this thread, and I think Whinny has a dedicated owner and some fantastic friends at BYC!
She probably wouldn't be alive without her BYC buddies, and she certainly wouldn't if you had given up on her. You deserve a pat on the back as well!
