What?! I never noticed itEaster Egger. You can see her beard.
WOW that’s a beautiful chicken! This lady was sold to us as an ISA Brown, however with her coloring and laced patterned breast feathers I'm not so sure. She is approximately 6 months old, smaller, not laying yet, and very inquisitive and friendly. She has all white legs and feet. I'm just dying to know if she's a generic fluke or something entirely different all together. View attachment 2941928View attachment 2941929

Where?Easter Egger. You can see her beard.
I never suspected Easter Egger, she has short neck feathers. That would be quite a surprise if it were so. Is there an Easter variety with a similar appearance? I thought they always had those fluffy beards. (She's also about 6 months old and based on her behavior I suspect she will be coming into lay any day now.)I'm leaning towards an EE. Tractor supply is notorious for mixing chicks up in the store when they clean the bins.
