I'm not understanding the sex link terminology. The link here on byc talks only of red or brown sex link (& I did not understand it).
This is what was on the label at TCS.
Does this mean they are a cross? Between what?

I'm seeing conflicting info but one source described a gold sex link as a cross where the resulting male chicks are white, female chicks white with streaks of gold or red.
ISA brown male chicks are white, female chicks red.
Would mine possibly be a cross?

ISA browns are red sex links. Maybe they just put ISAs and other gold sex links in the same bin. Like cinnamon queens.

Isa brown and gold sex link are different names for the same thing, that’s why both names are on the label

I don't know what the black ones in that bin would have been.
So I'd assume from the label that the 2 that I got (shown in my photo) would likely /surely be female then.
