We have a 15-16 week old isa brown pullet that has started to mature quickly. Within the past couple of weeks her comb and wattle has gotten a bit bigger and darker as well. I noticed that she also has started to do the submissive squat when i try to pet her or pick her up. This is my first time owning chickens and from what i’ve read, she’s getting closer to laying her first egg! She just seems pretty small and young for laying her first egg, based on her breed. Is this natural?

They supposed to lay their first egg at 16-18 weeks of age

Mine laid her first egg at 17 weeks of age, this is her first egg next to an EEs egg
