I wish my better Sizzles had his level of leg and foot feather - and even his body feathering is broad and beautiful. He started out a typical blue and then turned into that. It's been fun to watch really. Funny how it's the odd men out often enough that earn permanent places in our hearts.
The breeder said she's been trying to get rid of that coloration from her lines for years, and is both Laughing and appalled that I'm keeping him and using him. I told her she could send any others she ended up with that have the red... Laura loves him. He goes no where.
Getting her attached to any chicken is hard enough. So any one that she wants to keep - stays. She likes watching the silly feather dusters as they free range.
