Glad it helped your knee! My DH has a very bad knee. Might have to get him in on this one, too!

NeatI put the castor oil to the test about arthritis today...on my own knee. I have a knee that really works up on cold, damp days like today and was particularly bad today. I figured I'd try the CO and then a heating pad to see the results. Well, I applied the CO but got busy and didn't remember to put on a heating pad. I never really thought about it again until several hours later and then I realized my knee wasn't hurting any longer! Even though I'd read it works and I saw it on my own chickens, I just never expected it to work on that knee...nothing else seems to work on it, so I was pretty surprised.
I'm definitely getting more of this stuff and keeping it handy for days like today. Going to try it on my neck next time as that's the really worst place I have arthritis.
Like sauteed? Hmm.. I am going to have to try thatI love coconut oil. I really like the flavor, especially with broccoli.

Yep, sauteed with a bit of water, coconut oil, garlic salt and pepper.
It is an unrefined saturated fat. This is VERY healthy for you.I was under the impression that coconut oil was a very saturated fat.

How about this:I'm not convinced about that. That's why movie theater popcorn is so bad for you, the coconut fat added to it. Seems to me that any saturated fat would not be something you'd want to consume large amounts of. It's why I made my own baby formulas way back when my sons were babies, to avoid the coconut fat/oils in commercial formulas.
Articles like this one are why I'm not getting on the coconut oil bandwagon.
