Yuck, thanks for giving me flash backs of summers at my grandparents in southern Illinois.

I like everything but summer. Summer is too dang hot here, and we don't have air conditioning in the house. It regularly gets over 100 degrees here. Thank gawd it's a dry hear, or folks would be dying in the streets.

I went to Vietnam for a couple of weeks during the summer. It was over 100 degrees and raining. I have never, ever, ever been so miserably hot - and I've spent time in Death Valley during the summer, too. Wet season in Costa Rica was bad, but more tolerable than Vietnam, being only in the 90s. We stayed in a jungle hut (quite literally - there were no walls) for a few weeks. The night before our flight out, we stayed in a nice hotel in the capital city, and they had laundry facilities. We washed and dried our clothes, and we hadn't realized how wet everything was until we put on our dry clothes.

My favorite is spring. I love the blooming flowers and the promise of warmer weather

Late spring is my favorite. Not much snow left (looking at you, May ) but odds of snakes are pretty low.

Good God. I seriously did consider moving to Australia, but I don't think I can do 365 days of heat. Plus everything wants to kill people and would actually kill me.

Even I was pretty miserable from the heat and humidity when I went to Costa Rica and that says something
