Same but have never been there. Almost 100% German so I have that wonderful accent. My sister and I both talk the same, no one else in the family does. We went through speech therapy for years at school but you can't fix an accent

I do not know where my accent comes from. I am the only person I know that speaks like I do.

I'm not from down there, here we say pih-cahn.

I guess that I will get that ball rolling. For those of you that do not know, I speak with a very heavy Bostonian/New Yorker accent, so I tend to talk funny even to fellow New Hampshirinians. I pronounce it: Car-ah-mel. My family pronounces it: Care-ah-mel.

I also pronounce car as cah, and candy bar as candy bah.
