Yall might get a chuckle out of this or burn be at the stake for it, but I totally forgot until tonight one of my silkie chicks from last fall has a crossbeak. It was only a bit visible when it was younger, and now apart from the fact that the top part is a bit too long, it's no more noticeable after like 3 months. Still going in the pot, but it completely cracked me up that I just forgot about it. Usually my crossbeaks are quite severe. But I also don't know if this was from an injury, genetic or because he was incubated poorly by mama

It’s baked haddock again with roasted potatoes, squash, and roll, or clam chowder, or salad. I knew it was going to be fish so I made myself a ham sandwich lol except we ran out of cheese and mayo so it’s just mustard on it lol

Also my driver took a wrong turn so we went backroads on the way instead of highway so that’s why I saw the rooster.
