Not no shedding, just not long hair shedding. Which is why the sausage dog is the clear choice. Possibly a chihuahua. No shedding you might think about a small poodle. They are very smart.

ugh, yuck. Watching the movie Beethoven was enough to convince me I never wanted one. And imagine how much dog hair would be everywhere!

I haven't seen that movie but based on the story line I was surprised they picked a Saint Bernard. Is he supposed to be a Saint Bernard based on the book?
