Very nice Easter. We had ham, scalloped potatoes, candied carrots, and sweet potatoes. I made the candied carrots and carrot cake. Lots of carrots but we love them. We had nice weather and the kids were able to play outside. On a sad note though, there was a house fire this morning, on our way to church. One elderly man was able to be rescued but another died on the second floor
Huh uh, count me out on this one.
Mine compromised of finding a dog with collar, leash, chain and cable caught up on a neighbors culvert a couple houses down then tirelessly and failing to find his owners. He had a mass on a rear leg so I was doing all I could to not call animal control. I didn't want them involved at all costs. Next thing you know they're keeping the dog saying it's abused for not seeking medical treatment. Otherwise dog appeared healthy, was fixed and friendly to people. Was NOT to our cats though. Finally I gave up emailed animal control and in the mean time tied him up to a light pole just inside my yard by my driveway with a couple handmade flyers pinned to it saying "do you know this dog". This morning I checked and he's gone so I guess the owners went looking for him. He could not have gotten free himself so thays good now I can tell animal control his home was found.
