I don't deserve my husband. Look what he accomplished and surprised me with while I was gone.
He laid the new floor and painted the living room and put up the the trim.

And, to my total surprise and shock, he completely overhauled the girls' room.
He laid the floor, painted, put in two new windows, replaced the ceiling and added recessed lighting...plus put in a door where their closet will eventually be built.

So my wife got on a smart home kick since I started turning the water heater off when we leave for work. Anyway she got Bluetooth smart plugs and stuff and our light bill is literally more than about 60 to 70 percent less than what it was! It's nuts how much money we're wasting while we're not home. Only small drawback is that it works through Alexa so everything we say and do is being recorded by the government and Russia.

I seriously doubt Russia has the tech. or money to track us like that.

they were so surprised and happy. None of us had any idea he was going to tackle all that. He told them he'll take them to the store tomorrow so they can pick out a play rug and curtains and they're very excited about that.
