Totally unrelated but has anyone known or have experience with getting a new chicken and having them infect your chickens because it wasn't quarantined? Just wondering. I haven't ever but I know where all mine came from and was comfortable not quarantining and have not ever had any noticeable issues

Good question. I would be comfortable not quarantining a purchase from most here, but not a random CL purchase.

I mean, mine got mareks from somewhere, likely the hatchery my araucanas came from judging by recent reviews.

We have a lot of Marek's cases here. Not a chance I'm going to bring new birds in without a quarantine period. Even from people I trust.

Why buy from sketchy strangers off there internet when you can buy from sketchy internet friends?
Jokes aside, totally comfortable getting fowl from reputable byers. Still doing quarantine for a month though.

I suck at secrets though, I expect she'll have it minutes after she gets home. I'm a pushover.
