Salt it, stick a fork in it, and gobble it up. That is how my family eats baked potatoes. I do not like them, personally, but everyone else does.

Most assuredly, I ate one just last night. Rub olive oil all over it, salt and pepper, 450F for about 70 minutes give or take depending on the size of the potato. Definitely eating the skin that is good and crispy.

I scrape out most of the insides while the potato is still hot, slather butter onto/into the skin, add salt and pepper to taste.

Yes, Ideally with butter, chili, cheese, and bacon. The skin keeps it all in like a little bowl and then you can eat that too.

Sometimes. I find the texture of the skin varies a lot, so it depends on if it’s got a good texture or not.
