Yep. I used to think there wasn’t much of a difference until I worked 2 years in Mobile.

I remember when my brother went into Iraq on the initial invasion with the infantry and how bad he looked when he came home. Then later he was stationed for 2 years, I think it was maybe Ft. Polk. South La. anyway. He came home and I said what in the **** happened to you! He looked 10 times worse than being in the war.

Yep. I used to think there wasn’t much of a difference until I worked 2 years in Mobile.

I loved it down there even in the heat, but one thing was worse than the heat. Living by the bay and all that marshy brackish water, the massive gnats that came out at dusk. Teeth & wings!
