There are too many people to reply to for this one comment: I thought that Dawg and I were the resident Yankees?

I'm a yankee just slightly yooper-ised. Upper Peninsula Michigan are yoopers, I'm downstate lower peninsula, so still a yankee. I like being a yankee, it just sits quite right with me.

If you're in Europe, yes. Southerners, proper ones, would never refer to themselves as a Yankee. lol
