My ducklings are huge and gross. I need to move the pekins to their outdoor tractor and then switch the runner babies from the little brooder in the basement to the larger one in the shed outside. 😵‍💫
No one yell me for being online. Lol, I'm on lunch break.
Not that I'm going to eat anything. I'll probably just make myself some coffee.

Donuts are good with coffee. JS

And I didn't mention what happened on the way home day before yesterday. I was about 3 1/2 hours away when I pulled off at an exit for some gas. The brakes suddenly awfully soft. I mean, I was pushing them practically to the floor before I was getting any engagement. Definitely unusual and a definitive change from how they felt that morning.
Since they *worked* still, there was a temptation to keep driving, but that was not going to be a smart plan so I called Diego to ask him his opinion. He had me check the brake fluid and it wasn't empty but not too far above the minimum line. I had to drive around to a couple of different gas stations because the one I was at didn't have it. So I filled it up with brake fluid and made it the rest of the way home all-in-one piece, thankfully. The brake fluid was drained by the time I got home so there must be a leak in the line somewhere.

I'm sure Diego will find and fix the leak.

He definitely will. He's very good with vehicles. In fact, he already is assuming it's probably the back lines because they worked too well for it to be the front lines. It's just a bummer he has to figure it out now because he's so strapped for time, but I have to go back to New York fairly soon for my sister's wedding so it needs to be done.

Back when he lived near his siblings and they were younger, he used to do vehicle work for them. His little sister pretty much never called him unless she needed help with her car. One time, shortly after we were married and were in town, he saw she was calling. He picked up the phone and answered, "What's broke?"
