But, seriously, they all seem to tell you something different. I see going one direction you will be running back over what you discharge, and the other way you would not.

Most of them tell you to mow in a circle or square, rectangle etc.. with 2 laps clockwise and then a lap counter. I mow the way that gets it cut whichever way that is lol

I ended up taking the dog for a walk. A short one but still.

We always discharge into the grass that still needs mowed. Might as well cut the mowed grass smaller if you can

I usually do as well. And, and if I have some discharge left over in the middle when I get finished I raise the mower deck to highest level and run over it to spread it out so you do not see it. Neater lawn. Or, I have been known to rake it and use as mulch around tomatoes

Yes, I have heard that. Suppose to be better for you lawn. And, always mow high and mow often. I try to, but sometimes it is mow when I have time

My neighbor finally had her grass mowed today, it was close to three feet tall, no joke. The poor lady that did it had to clean the dog crap up in the fenced area first. I'd be charging her a pretty penny to do all that work

We haven't mowed in probably two weeks. It hasn't rained so the grass hasn't grown. It's turning brown and getting pretty crunchy when you walk on it. Mowing it would probably kill it at this point
