I can add top pieces to the trays, even a strip of duck tape, if necessary. We'll see.

Love it!
I free feed my birds and they are not obese. But you will want to cover those trays. They are gonna be standing in them and throwing feed everywhere.

I free feed as well. Never had any issues with obese birds
