I don't think it is a common issue with all iphones. I have never had a Sim card problem with any iphone. Maybe it is certain models. My kids have not had a problem with any of them either, and I get them the more expensive ones. And, you know, I don't know that my SE even has the traditional Sim card. I don't think it does. I know it doesn't have a normal slot that you could just change it like the old ones. Heck, as far as that goes, I don't know if any iphones I have owned have had that like the Androids do.Nah he did it for free but he specifically said it was a common issue with the iPhones. Hence my hesitation lol maybe it’s just the newer iPhones? Idk.
I didn’t even have a laptop until recently lol or rather, I used to but it’s been a long time. But I still need to set my new one up. I’ve been worried it was going to be difficult lol
Also he said all the newest iPhones don’t even have a physical SIM. They got rid of it and it’s all eSIMs which are supposedly better. But that worries me because does that mean you have to replace the whole phone now if it doesn’t work? Or is there a way to get a new eSIM? I guess there must be a way because he tried an eSIM with mine. It didn’t work though.
The camera on the newest iPhones is AMAZING too. He showed us a picture he took.
Idk, nothing is going to be perfect, and people have what they feel work for them. Like I said I would never own an Apple IPad or a MacBook. One of the things I do is System Administrator and everything I put on the network will be PC. We have a few Docs that want to use a MacBook and I let them, but they have to buy their own. I ask them why, and they claim they are better and less problems and easier to troubleshoot.. So, I ask them if they are so easy to troubleshoot, then, why do they have to bring them to me so much to straighten them out for them. I tell them I think you are just paying extra money for a name. Most have bought into that, but a few believe what they believe. It is their money.
