I remember back in the day going outside around midnight and heard what sounded to me like a hyena and chimpanzee knocking boots. The next day I described the sound to a friend and they said it was some kind of owl! Really odd sound in the quietness of the night

Yep. Went through the net and torn most of it down to get in but wouldn't go back through it to get out. Dumb headhunter

We must not have those kind here.
That GHO did make a weird loud clicking noise with its beak. I was waiting for it to open up like the predator's mouth.

Do they have towns in NH? I thought it was just little clusters of houses in the woods.
