I should also at that, since Hmong are a landrace breed, although a rooster or pair might be silver, they can throw every color under the chicken rainbow except for barred. I started out with a golden duckwing rooster and a pair of black copper hens, and I have hatched solid white, silver penciled, black birchen, wheaten, highly iridescent black copper, blues, every morph of wildtype partridge, and even a few quail-colored birds.I’m looking for some Silver Hmong’s, I’m located near Hillsborough, North Carolina. I’m willing to buy from a personal seller or open to references of where to buy from.

Many in that group are breeders, and many live in North Carolina. The very best breeder of Hmong that I know of lives in NC, actually! I got my stock directly from him, had birds shipped to me. Best decision I’ve ever made in regard to chickens! They’re the most utilitarian breed I’ve ever known.
