Had a 6 week old chick with swollen crusty eye. I have treated her with antibiotics (in the water) and been putting saline in the eye for 4 days. She is looking much better and acts like she feels fine. The eye is not swollen anymore and she is keeping it open all the time.
I have had her isolated since I first noticed the problem. When is it OK to put her back in with the flock?
