Rest in brooder are happy! Out and about eating and drinking. I put the open waterer for now. I see them using both. None died so I am guessing the heat pad is doing well.

I just did this morning and it's no good.

All done with first time incubating!
Final results are in:
8 of 9 = 89% hatched of my own eggs.
9 of 18 = 50% shipped eggs hatched.
All in all pretty darn happy with the first go around at this. Now time to make some minor improvements to the Incuview and I'll be loading up my next batch of eggs today. This time White Leghorn and Lavender Orpingtons!!! Depending on hatch results if anyone is local to CT and would like some once hatched let me know. I plan on keeping several of the Lavender Orpingtons to start breeding with my Lavender Cuckoo Orpington Roo.
