It's not a chicken but I just got my first quail to hatch!

Now just waiting on my 16 chicken eggs to hatch although I have a sinking feeling my 4 olive eggers aren't fertile. Bummer

I've tried a couple times to hatch quail both from local eggs and eBay. Had three make it to lock down but one died after piping. While I was at work one of the eggs rolled covering the pip and I think it suffocated.
