Aisling chuckled softly as she watched him leave. She finally turned away with a small sigh when he was out of sight and headed for the library once more. She couldn't wait until tomorrow when he could surprise her with whatever he planned.

Lyra laughed at his rendition and wanted to shake her head at that silliness, but she stayed still for his preening, glad of it. "We would never say such things Reptar. Some may think them, but we wouldn't say them, too crass." She teased back. He was certainly the one to go to to get you to laugh, though she didn't like that he put himself down to do that. "I wouldn't even think such a thing about you"

Aiveron's mind was running around the infinite possibilities of what they could do tomorrow on their outing. He was light as a feather as he practically floated back to his room to plan it out perfectly.

"That's because you have true loyalty..... either that, or I've successfully brainwashed you." Reptar said reasonably, as he paused to spit out a loose feather from his mouth. He had amusement in his eyes, as he paused to look at Lyra.

Vivian stated "Acan does a wonderful job here, it is a beauty to behold."

"I wholeheartedly agree." Sebastian stated, as he took in the spender. But at that particular moment, he was looking to Vivian. "Such perfection is always in need of reverent appreciation." He whispered breathlessly to her.

(I hope me meant her, or I'm looking really stuck up...) Vivian turned to look at him, and exclaimed in wonder "You flatter me so, my love!"

"Loyalty is a good thing." Lyra said, reaching a foot up to scratch at an out of place feather on her head. "I would not have told you no so much if I had been brainwashed"

Magatha came out from the coop, a twinkle in her eye. Dan had brought her many wonderful herbs and stones, and sorting and preserving them always put her in good spirits. Once she closed the latch, she shifted to her magpie form and flew , circling once, then swooping in to land next to him. Bobbing their tails, she and him chattered happily together, while the hens milled about scratching the ground for tidbits.

Acan had spent quite some time with the spring blooming bulbs on the lawn. The spring would bring a carpet of carefully planned " wildflowers" across the lawn in purple, yellow and white, with masses of crocus, grape hyacinth, snowdrops, and miniature narcissus, planted in careful drifts to look like nature herself had done it.

Reptar's mood brightened as he looked to Lyra. "You do have a point. But I honestly can't understand why you've always been kind to me. I know I'm insufferable and am not favored in the slightest." He said lightly.

"ouch! Dash it all, how did you con me into peeling potatoes with you, Emily?" Grumbled Jeffrey as he stuck his skinned thumb in his mouth.
"Hahaha! My sweet personally. Who can resist a maiden in distress?" Teased Emily, dramatically batting her eyelashes at him in a fit of giggles while still chopping veggies. They were almost done, and large trays of prepped root vegetables had gone in already. The Yorkshire puddings had been placed under the roasts to catch the drippings, and all the pies were lined up along the walls cooling. Breads were going in at this time too, so as to be warm when everything was ready.
