After waiting 9 months, my EE finally decided to lay her first egg. What a shock to not see a blue or green, but rather a yellow egg in the nest! Who knew!?!

You never know how much of the blue gene is left in EEs after many generations of crossing.
Disappointing though, I suppose.

Not seeing yellow....but yeah, not all EE's lay green/blue.

The yellow one your talking about is the one on lower left, right? Interesting to know since I just ordered 3 Araucana/Ameracauna among my 15 chicks order.

Yes. It is a pale yellow
