Woolyfirefly --- so did the chick hatch? If not, was the yolk consumed? Did the membrane dry out and the chick die? We are on day 22 and would like an update.

Yes, there is hope.. I just had a chick hatch on day 25.. You do need to candle and see if you can see movement.

What if we can't tell if there's movement. I have 2 dark olive eggs in there that's going on day 23 today. No hatching or piping. This is my first time. Was candeling last night to see what's up. I see slight bit of veins by the air sack in one. The other is very dark and I can see air sack with a tiny triangle in it... but I can't see anything else but air sack really..
