I started getting chick fever last fall! And I was good, and I waited....until last week My chicks should be here next Thursday (hopefully) or Friday! Im so excited!!! Im getting 2 barred cochins, 2 blue cochins, 2 red cochins, 2 speckled sussex, 2 EEs, 2 white leghorns and however many packing peanuts Ideal decides to throw in the box with them. YAY!

When I went out to my coop this morning for the usual feeding session I heard peeping and I found 6 new fluffballs finally hatched! So excited got 3 more hens sitting should be bringing off next weekend! I wonder if one can love seeing new biddies too much.

Ok so I have only had my silkie chicks for a little over a week now and I am totally hooked! Now I want to try and hatch some eggs to see the whole process start from the very beginning but I am going to hold off for awhile!

I guess being addicted to chickens is better than being addicted to gambling or alcohol

Eye yi yi! I ordered 10 chicks and i thought my fever broke....and it did.....until.....THE WAIT STARTED CATCHING UP ON ME! I have to wait 7 weeks.

I need help...how do i at least take the fever down!?!?!? LOL

I have completely lost my marble with the chick fever LOL sadly i figured out you can order them online! i had chickens as a kid but now that i have my 40 acre ranch i want chickens again so when i ran into e-fowl it was on! Here is my order as it sits at the moment and i slowed the fever by buying a mated pair of chinese white geese to lay me some eggs in the mean time and boy are they tastey. Here is my up and coming flock due to making such a discovery lol

2 Chinese Geese adults
2 baby geese
2 Peking duck chicks
5 RIR pullets
5 Jersey Giant pullets
5 Assorted heavy breed chicks
5 TSC bought Cornish cross lost 1
6 Black Copper Maran eggs
6 Ameraucana eggs

Bought the bator and all accessories that go with it! I have got that fever and then some! LOL
