I shouldn't have been browsing all of the cute baby chicken pics on this forum - someone really should put up a warning or a disclaimer or something about the risk of catching Chick Fever on here

My babies are all supposed to show up sometime next week. bantam splash cochins, bantam lavender ameraucanas and some assorted silkies. I'm pumped!! I'm probably lucky or rather unlucky that my lot is only .15 acres or else I'd have 25 more on the way haha!!

My mind is so SCRAMBLED I have 35 eggs in my incubator, hatched 7 Silkies 3 weeks ago, won a black Silkie roo at the Friendship Poultry Club Show in Morganton yesterday, and now have to expand my coop and run for the others!!

I know the feeling got 50 RIR on order and have 5 baby white silkies and one blue male roo and still in search of more silkies. My husband is beginning to think i need help.

Hers are $15 a piece for breeder quality but currently she will send you additional pet quality silkies for free with an order of at least one of her $15 chicks. Shipping isn't bad either, I ordered 3 and had her put in 2 pets with my order

She ships at a minimum 2-3 weeks old I believe but I'm pretty sure she has 8 week olds as well.
Mine will hopefully be here this week, I CAN'T wait!!!

lol. Glad to see it's not just me.

I ordered mine from Murray McMurray. Their silkies are not show quality, but I was very happy with them (and their Polish) when I ordered a few years ago.
