Tonight DH came home with three emu chicks. Can't remember exact age right now, but less than two months anyway. We had planned for two (they're expensive!) but DH became quite good friends with the Australian seller and came home with three emus, a pair of bantams and two rabbits.
There should be two males and a female, two of them from the same parents and one from Danish imported eggs (I live in Norway).
What do you think?
The lightest one (in the middle) female?
They are just too cute, very very curious and clumsy and don't mind at all that we put pur hands on them. I'm going to put hay or shavings on the floor as it is qute slippery and when we get around to it they'll move out to a bird pen/house with some big turkey poults (they roost, so hopefully we'll avoid crushing).
Hello!
Haven't got any names yet, gonna have to think about that one.
