Ivermectin-feeding eggs back to birds?

When I told my husband that we would not be able to eat the eggs for 2 weeks after worming my birds w/Ivermectin

he suggested that we cook/boil the eggs and feed them back to the birds

... what do you think? would it hurt? double dose them? It won't seem like a waste at all if the girls can have them.

Any thoughts?

They would absolutely love that! Mine all love scrambled eggs. Hardly any ivermectin actually makes it to the eggs, so I wouldn't worry about double dosing them.
