Jack white silkie can't walk

Assuming the chicks hatch, they will help her with loneliness. She will be too preoccupied to notice. I always have extra food and water for my broody hens. I take them off the nest once a day so they can poop, run around, dust bathe and then get back on the nest.

In regards to the care taken not to lose Jack, it sounds like you did all you could have. I'm hoping those babies hatch! Keep us posted please.

Victor has now got off the eggs for 5mins since I stopped taking her off at "lockdown"
I saw two eggs with small pip cracks then late last night I hear the most amazing little chirps!
I'm desperate to see my new babies!!
