Today my wonderful, neurotic little tribe of dinos decided to execute the perfect breakout.
Patiently, and with great calculation they waited for their water refill to show me I hadn't shut the pen door enough. I was stuck keeping the bottom spout blocked with a thumb because I've lost the cap, and everyone but my four fattest pullets took the opportunity to squeeze their way out.
They knew exactly what they were doing.
It took an hour to convince everyone they wanted to go back in, I'd love to let them free range but my neighbours have semi feral cats that make their way over to my acreage, and I'd hate to have a situation occur that I could have prevented.
The cream/tan one is Cluckingsworth. I know this was her doing, she's always been my most ornery chicken.
Cluckingsworth again convincing everyone that feral cats are merely a myth mean chicken ladies tell little biddies so they behave.
