Thanks... and yay!

WooHoo! I just got home for lunch and one or both of my eggs are chirping! I can't wait until they start opening the egg! Guess all my patience the last 3 weeks is starting to pay off haha

Edit: I looked at the eggs a little closer and both are pipped! They are taking a break right now... I get to go to jury duty in a couple hours so I'm sure that's when my first ever hatch will decide to come into the world

It is one of the eggs right next to the first one to pip! They must get support from each other!

This will be me tonight

Okay so how long before you intervene? The first egg only has a bit of shell missing, but the membrane is still there. The second has had absolutely no change since it first pipped. No zipping going on at all. How long does it usually take from pip to starting to zip? The first one pipped in the center of the egg and the second pipped closer to the top.

First pip was at 9:30 am CST and second pip was at 1:30 pm CST

ETA: After doing a lot of reading (mainly some posts by MaransGuy) I have realized that helping is not a good idea no matter what. They will hatch if they are going to hatch.

My first hatch went well! I put 11 of my chicken's eggs in there, only 2 were fertile and they both seem very healthy. Thanks BYC for all the help! They hatched about 14 hours short of exactly 21 days.
