Thanks being at work isn't helping I work in a nursing facility and all my lil ole lady's keep asking about em so my mind is still in incubator wonder land lol FYI they are wanting me to bring a few of the chicks in so they can hold them would this be safe? I live 10 min from work and I'm sure I could put a heat pad in cardboard box and keep chicks nice and warm

Eggtopsied one egg of two. Will probably do the other soon, but not until I am convinced. This egg sank in the float test on day 22, the other bobbed, but did not wiggle. Day 13? 14? Very sad. I could have sworn the egg had movement at day 18. Hurried the little one next to his/her father.

We found Goldie dead with his neck all bent up. He was the best happy accident. I am so upset i just....poor sunny can imagine what shes feeling. Now i need a new Buff Orpington Roo

I lost a hen two days ago and have been so upset I have not even been able to post about it.
She was older than old, blind and just a sweetheart. I told her we would take care of her
with her blindness..............Something got her, a coyote I am sure and I am feeling so guilty
that I let her go out with the flock.........Sorry, all that just kind of popped out............

Its ok Gold was actually a cockeral (so young) and yes Sunbun what i call her is alone. They were going to be a breeding pair so now i need a new roo. Grr this is annoying. Sunny is in the coop with the others cause its cold but she and him always roosted together.
